Let’s Not Talk About It
The project, Let’s Not Talk About It, is a game designed for people who know each other but want to foster deeper conversations. This game enables individuals to develop emotional intelligence within small groups of their loved ones. This branding project includes a logo, notebooks, a book with prompts, and a box. Approaching this project required psychological research to determine what encourages people to open up and ask thought-provoking on what helps people open up as well as thought provoking questions that will facilitate productive conversations. Since this project emphasizes perspectives, perspective photography was incorporated into the book to enhance its visual appeal. Easy to read typography was essential to this project’s success as well.
This project intends to foster meaningful conversations within smaller groups to cultivate deeper relationships and mutual understanding. In the context of shaping the world, this project begins from within, starting with people. The motivation behind this initiative is to help individuals gain gratitude and perspective on what they already possess. The inspiration for this project came from a personal instance, when I was in a life threatening car accident when I was 19 years old. It’s so easy to take what we have for granted and to forget to have gratitude. Receiving a poor grade on a test can seem like the worst thing imaginable until something truly worse occurs. This project’s inspiration encourages us not to sweat the small stuff in life because we cannot predict what might encourage us not to sweat the small stuff in life. After all, we cannot predict what might happen. Cherish your loved ones now and avoid wasting time being upset over minor issues in life.
